WORKSHOPS TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS
Do you need to build your team’s capabilities in the areas of Team Building, Soft/Core Skills, Leadership Development, Incident Management, Health & Safety or Emergency Preparedness?
A run well, relevant and engaging workshop can be an important and useful way to share new information, teach or update skills or bond teams. A ‘good’ workshop will inspire your team, while a ‘bad’ one can be damaging to team moral and spirit.
In my experience, the best workshops I have attended have been the ones where important topics were discussed, group exercises took place and stories were used to bring home key points and essential information.
I have a range of workshops I can offer, all based on my own life experiences, and of course my experiences on the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. One of the things I consistently get told is that I make my stories memorable but find a way to make it relevant to my audience. After all, most of us won’t hang below a moving helicopter, rescuing someone from a yacht bouncing around in high seas – but the team skills required are the same that are required in any workplace.
TRUST is the framework I use for most of my workshops; TRUST is an acronym for the five things that we all need to trust in our job:
- Resources (equipment)
- Urself (Yourself)
- Systems (Policies / Procedures)
